... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon akst
Friday...

* what... snow, freezing rain, strong winds and blowing snow. The
ice will result in difficult travel conditions. Total snow
accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, and ice accumulations of less
than one tenth of an inch are expected.

* Where... middle Tanana Valley.

* When... 6 PM today to noon Friday. Snow and freezing rain will
develop this evening. Precipitation will change to all snow
Thursday evening. Strong winds and blowing snow will develop
Thursday evening and continue through Friday.

* Additional details... winds gusting as high as 40 mph will
cause areas of blowing and drifting snow with low visibility
Thursday evening through Friday. Winds this strong could cause
damage to trees and power lines.
