... Some light snow and slippery roads through the morning
commute...

A band of light snow... mixed with some drizzle or freezing
drizzle... continued to move east across the area early this
morning. By 9 am the leading edge of the band is expected to be
near a Tomah and Steuben Wisconsin to Guttenberg Iowa line.
The trailing edge will move to near an Osseo and La Crosse
Wisconsin to Fayette Iowa line by 9 am.

Most snow amounts are expected to be 1/2 inch or less. With
temperatures hovering near or just above 32... some slushy
accumulations can be expected on roads... especially untreated
roads and bridge decks. The greater threat of slush covered roads
is west and north of La Crosse where the light snow has been more
persistent.

If traveling or on your way to work this morning... be alert for
slippery spots and stretches on untreated roads. Slow down and
allow some extra time to safely reach your destination.
