The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a
* Flood Warning for
the Mississippi River at Burlington.
* Until further notice.
* At 10:00 am Monday the stage was 13.6 feet... and rising.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage Thursday evening... and continue
rising to 16.2 feet Monday morning.
* Impact... at 16.0 feet... water affects low lying buildings and
homes in Montrose and Niota.
