... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 6 am MST Tuesday...

* impacts... moderate snowfall will accumulate on roadways and
may reduce visibility, making travel difficult.

* Timing... after a brief let-up in snow accumulations... snowfall
rates will intensify during the afternoon and peak during the
early evening.

* Snow accumulations... snowfall will range from one half inch to 3
inches. Heaviest amounts will be on the eastern and southern
portions of the upper Snake River Plain... including Idaho Falls
and Rexburg.

* Confidence... low to moderate from Firth to Idaho Falls because
of snow levels. Moderate to high from Atomic City to Craters
of the Moon.

* Locations... Idaho Falls, Rexburg, Mud Lake, Atomic City and
Craters of the Moon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of moderate
to heavy snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution
while driving.
