sensitive groups in Blaine County of Idaho. This advisory will
remain in effect until air quality has significantly improved.

Those individuals who are sensitive to increased particulate or
smoke levels are encouraged to limit prolonged or strenuous
outdoor activity. An increase in symptoms of asthma and other
respiratory ailments are liekly. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Another statement will be issued about 1 PM MDT Tuesday unless
conditions improve and the advisory is no longer needed.

Fire Weather Warning

... Red flag warning in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to 9 PM
MDT this evening for gusty winds and low relative humidity for
fire weather zones 422... 475 and 476...

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a red flag
warning... which is in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to 9 PM MDT
this evening.

* Affected area... fire weather zone 422. Fire weather zone 475.
Fire weather zone 476. Including Lemhi... Lost River
Range... Salmon Challis nf and sawtooth nf.

* Wind... south to southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts near 30 mph.

* Humidity... 9 to 14 percent.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. Fires may experience
rapid rates of growth. Please advise the appropriate officials or
fire crews in the field of the red flag warning for portions of
southeast Idaho.
