The Flood Warning continues for
the Pecatonica River at Freeport.
* Until Wednesday morning.
* At 1:30 am Friday the stage was 12.4 feet... and rising.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise to near flood stage this evening. Remain
near flood stage through the weekend, then rise to 13.4
feet Monday. Fall below flood stage Tuesday night.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... water affects low lying sections of
Freeport mainly east of the Pecatonica River.

areas, Carroll, Jo Daviess, and Stephenson.

* From this afternoon through Saturday morning

* heavy rainfall of 1 to 3 inches with locally higher amounts
possible.

* Impacts could include flooded roads and intersections, river
flooding, and possible rock and mud slides in hilly terrain.

A Flash Flood Watch means that flash flooding is possible.
Monitor forecasts and take action if flash flood warnings are
issued or flash flooding develops.
