Flash Flood Watch, Areal Flood Advisory

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 11 am EDT this
morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Indiana, northern Kentucky, and Ohio, including
the following areas, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette in,
Franklin in, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, and Union in. In
northern Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll,
Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Mason, Owen, Pendleton, and
Robertson. In Ohio, Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton,
Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Montgomery, Preble, and Warren.

* Until 11 am EDT this morning

* a warm front will lift slowly north across the region through
this morning. Showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop
along the front. Some storms will be capable of producing very
heavy rainfall. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches can be
expected with locally higher amounts possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas,
and be careful when approaching Highway dips and underpasses.

* flood advisory for...
Kenton County in northern Kentucky...
Campbell County in northern Kentucky...
northeastern Pendleton County in northern Kentucky...
southern Clermont County in southwestern Ohio...

* until 545 am EDT Saturday.

* At 1140 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain over
the advisory area. Additional rainfall is expected overnight.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Covington, Independence, Alexandria, Taylor Mill, Walton, Claryville,
Bethel, New Richmond, Felicity, Cold Spring, Ryland Heights, Mentor,
Moscow, Fairview, California, Visalia, Atwood, Grants Lick, Saltair
and Bracht.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
