The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* flood advisory for...
southern Mason County in northern Kentucky...
Robertson County in northern Kentucky...
Lewis County in northeastern Kentucky...

* until 700 PM EDT.

* At 500 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain
moving slowly east across the area. Rainfall rates of 1 to locally
2 inches an hour will be possible.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Vanceburg, Lewisburg, head of grassy, Camp Dix, Tollesboro, Mount
Olivet, Sardis, blue licks Battlefield, burika, Alhambra, Mays Lick,
Kinniconick, Mitchells Mill, Epworth, Ribolt, peed, charters,
Petersville, Stricklett and Helena.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
