Special Statement
Issued: 1:58 PM CDT Oct. 17, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Patchy frost and patchy dense river fog possible tonight...

Light winds and clear skies will allow for the development of
patchy frost tomorrow morning, mainly in sheltered areas and
valleys. Sensitive plants and vegetation may be harmed or killed
by this frost.

Patchy dense river fog will also be possible tomorrow morning. The
fog will be limited to area river valleys, where cold air over
the warmer water will allow for fog to develop. Visibilities could
briefly drop to less than a half a mile in these areas. When
encountering any fog on the roads or bridges, remember to use
your low-beam headlights and slow down.
