Wind Advisory
Issued: 10:00 PM EST Nov. 18, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 1 am EST Sunday...

* timing... gusty winds will continue to affect eastern Kentucky
early tonight.

* Winds... peak winds of 40 to 45 mph are possible.

* Impacts... travelers may find travel difficult on north to south
highways tonight. In addition, gusts of 40 to 45 mph can cause
some tree limbs or weakly rooted trees in hilly terrain to fall,
potentially resulting in isolated power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of 40 mph or higher are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
