freezing drizzle is expected. Light snow develops after 8 am,
increases intensity by 11 am, and then transitions to light
freezing rain or freezing drizzle by early Wednesday afternoon.
Snow accumulation around 1 inch is likely. Scattered moderate
intensity freezing rain showers are possible after 3 PM. Total
ice accretion is forecast to be 0.1 inch or less with localized
amounts of 0.15 inch possible. Periods of sleet may reduce
overall icing potential near the I-69 corridor. Temperatures
gradually rise from around 20 degrees in the morning to near or
above freezing by 10 PM.
* Where... Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston,
Oakland and Macomb counties.
* When... from 11 am to 10 PM EST Wednesday.
* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions mid to
late morning possibly lasting through the evening commute.
