High Wind Watch
Issued: 3:40 PM MST Jan. 20, 2018 – National Weather Service

... High wind watch in effect from Sunday morning through Sunday
evening...

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a high
wind watch, which is in effect from Sunday morning through Sunday
evening.

* Location... Union and Harding counties.

* Winds... west 35 to 45 mph with gusts to 60 mph.

* Timing... southwest winds will shift to the north and northwest
and increase Sunday morning, peak during the afternoon and
evening, before diminishing prior to midnight.

* Visibility... reduced to 2 to 4 miles or less in blowing dust.

or more can lead to property damage. Monitor the latest forecasts
at weather.Gov/abq, listen to NOAA Weather Radio or your favorite
media outlet.
