Flood Warning
Issued: 8:19 AM CDT Sep. 26, 2016 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a
* Flood Warning for the Guadalupe River near Bloomington.
* From Thursday evening until further notice... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 8:00 am Monday the stage was 13.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Forecast: river forecast to rise above flood stage by Thursday
before midnight and continue to rise to near 21.5 feet by Friday evening.

* At 20.0 feet minor lowland flooding occurs, with the flow reaching
the right flood plain near the invista plant near Bloomington.
Downstream above Highway 35, the flow escapes into the left flood
plain cutting off the lowest homes.

... A waterspout was spotted over Aransas Bay east of Rockport...

Law enforcement officials reported a waterspout east of Rockport
over Aransas Bay at 125 PM. It dissipated shortly after. The
storm producing the waterspout was moving to the southwest at
15 mph.

If you live in the path of this storm... you should be prepared to
seek shelter in the event The Funnel cloud reaches the ground.

The atmosphere will be favorable for the development of additional
waterspouts or funnel clouds today. Most of these funnel clouds
will be short lived. However... you should be prepared to seek
shelter in the event a funnel does reach the ground.
