Issued: 7:49 PM CST Dec. 8, 2016 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for the Guadalupe River near Bloomington.
* Until Sunday morning, or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7 PM Thursday, the stage was 25.1 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Forecast: the river will crest overnight near 25.2 feet, begin to
fall of Friday, dropping below flood stage Sunday morning.
* At 26.0 feet, irrigation and oil well pumps, tank batteries, and
equipment in the lower flood plain below Victoria will flood.
Livestock are cut off, may have to be fed by boat, and could drown.
Homes downstream above Highway 35 on the left bank are cut off.

The Flood Warning continues for the San Antonio River at Goliad.
* Until Saturday morning, or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7 PM Thursday, the stage was 30.2 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Forecast: the river will crest this evening at 30.2 feet, begin
to fall overnight, dropping below flood stage Saturday morning.
* At 30.0 feet, moderate lowland flooding occurs, covering much of
camping area at Goliad State Park.
