High temperatures this afternoon will be in the mid to upper 90s
and relative humidity values will generally range between 40 and
50 percent. The hot temperatures and increased humidity levels
will combine to produce heat index values of 105 to 107 degrees
this afternoon. Take extra precautions if you work or spend time
outside. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when
possible and drink plenty of water. Heat index values should drop
below 100 degrees shortly after sunset as temperatures begin to
slowly drop.
