... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 6 am CST Tuesday...

The Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect until 6 am CST
Tuesday.

* Timing... mixed precipitation of sleet and some snow starting
this morning then becoming mainly freezing rain late morning
and into the afternoon and ending late Monday night.

* Ice and snow accumulations... total ice accumulations up to two
tenths of an inch. Snow and sleet accumulations less than one
inch.

* Impacts... very slippery conditions on sidewalks... roads and
bridges. Weak tree branches could be downed... resulting in
power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
