Special Statement
Issued: 7:25 AM EDT Apr. 24, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Elevated fire weather concerns this afternoon...

High temperatures are expected to recover into the upper 60s to
around 70 this afternoon resulting in relative humidity values
dropping to between 15 and 25 percent. Southerly winds of 10 to 15
mph are expected to develop this afternoon with a few gusts
between 20 and 25 mph.

Area fire managers have requested that we issue a Special Weather
Statement to mention elevated fire weather concerns given the low
relative humidity values with a bit of a southerly breeze.
