... Marginally elevated fire weather potential today...

Dry conditions persist across southern New England with the
overall recent lack of precipitation. West to northwest winds will
gust up to 20 mph at times this afternoon. Temperatures will be
warmer than normal, with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Minimum relative humidity levels will reach 30 to 35 percent. As a
result, there is a marginally elevated fire weather potential for
the entire region today, except for Cape Cod and the islands where
relatively humidities will average 40 to 50 percent.

Winds will diminish by this evening and remain light on Saturday.
