The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a

* Flood Watch for those counties along the crest of the Blue
Ridge form Floyd County southwest to Watauga County, including
the areas downstream in Patrick, Surry, and Wilkes counties.

* From Monday morning through Tuesday afternoon

* prolonged heavy rainfall totaling three to four inches.

* Flooding of small streams and creeks and small rivers.
