... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 715 am EST
for Bryan... Liberty... Bulloch... Effingham... Chatham... long... Beaufort
and Jasper counties...

At 656 am EST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 9 miles northeast of Springfield to near Hinesville,
moving east at 55 mph.

Hazard... 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Savannah, Hinesville, Pooler, Bluffton, Richmond Hill, Ridgeland,
Springfield and Bellinger Hill area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.

Report damage directly to the Charleston National Weather Service at
1-888-383-2024 when it is safe to do so.
