Watches & Warnings

Special Statement, Air Quality Alert
Issued: 1:43 PM CDT Jun. 17, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Hot and humid conditions to continue...

Afternoon temperatures over the next few days are expected to
climb into the lower 90s. These temperatures combined with
dewpoints in the lower 70s will result in heat indices peaking
around 100 degrees each afternoon. Mostly sunny skies and only
light breezes will offer no relief from the heat and humidity.

If you are planning on being outside this afternoon or Monday
afternoon, stay well hydrated and take frequent breaks in air
conditioned spaces. Use sunscreen to protect your skin from the
sun's rays. Also, keep an eye on the elderly, people without
access to air conditioning, and pets.
