The Flood Warning continues for
the Grand River at Lansing.
* Until Monday morning.
* At 8:45 PM Thursday the stage was 14.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, the river will continue rising to near 14.5 feet by after
midnight tonight. The river will fall below flood stage Sunday
evening.
* Impact, at 15.0 feet... expect major flooding of homes and
businesses in low lying areas adjacent to the river. High water
also begins to affect the Railroad switch yard.

* Until late Monday night.
* At 9:30 PM Thursday the stage was 10.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, the river will continue to fall below flood stage by
Monday early afternoon.
* Impact, at 10.0 feet... Jenison fieldhouse, intramural sports
Circle, demonstration Hall on the Michigan State University Campus
impacted by flood water.

* Until Saturday afternoon.
* At 9:15 PM Thursday the stage was 9.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, the river will continue rising to near 9.3 feet by after
midnight tonight. The river will fall below flood stage early
Saturday morning.
* Impact, at 9.0 feet... expect minor basement flooding of several
homes in Williamston.
* Flood history, this crest compares to a previous crest of 9.0 feet
on Jul 8 1994.

* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, the river will continue to fall below flood stage by
tomorrow evening.
* Impact, at 10.0 feet... expect major flooding of east Mt. Hope Road
and homes along Sunnyside Ave, Willard Ave, Ruth Ave, Hoyt Ave and
Cavanaugh Road, boettcher court, Jolly Road, and Aurelius Road.
* Flood history, this crest compares to a previous crest of 8.8 feet
on Apr 7 2017.
