... Winter Storm Warning now in effect until 8 am CST this
morning...

* short term trends... accumulating snowfall will end from west to
east early this morning.

* Storm total snow accumulations... additional snowfall totals of
around an inch are expected... resulting in storm total
accumulations of 4 to 7 inches.

* Winds/visibility... southeast winds of 10 to 15 mph will cause
visibilities to be reduced to around a mile at times.

* Impacts... the primary impacts will be very hazardous travel
conditions due to reduced visibility and snow covered and icy
roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
emergency. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food,
and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
