Issued: 4:14 AM CST Feb. 22, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 9 am this
morning to midnight CST tonight...

* what... snow and freezing drizzle. There may even be freezing
rain and sleet late this afternoon and early evening in the
Storm Lake vicinity. Total snow accumulations one and a half to
two and a half inches are expected, with less than a tenth of
an inch of ice.

* Where... portions of southeast South Dakota and northwest Iowa.

* When... from 9 am this morning to midnight CST tonight. Areas of
light snow will fall early this morning, being replaced by
freezing drizzle and very light snow during the middle of the
day. Then late this afternoon and evening, accumulating snow
with freezing precipitation and sleet.

* Additional details... the ice will result in difficult travel
conditions, including during the evening commute. Be prepared
for reduced visibilities at times.
