* At 941 am CST, local law enforcement reported flooding in many
locations across southern Wisconsin due to 1 to 2 inches of rain
overnight falling on top of frozen ground along with melting snow.
More rainfall this afternoon may cause additional water related
issues.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying

... Flood Watch in effect until 6 PM CST this evening...

The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has expanded
the

* Flood Watch to include a portion of south central Wisconsin,
including the following areas, Dane, Iowa, and Lafayette.

* Until 6 PM CST this evening

* additional rainfall amounts of 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

* Small rivers and streams will continue to rise. Some urban and
low land flooding is possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
