... A Flood Warning remains in effect until 630 am CDT Tuesday for
Bayfield... northeastern Douglas and southwestern Ashland counties...

At 519 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding continued
across the warned area along many area rivers and streams. It
appears that headwaters have crested and flood waters are moving
downstream toward Lake Superior. Many Road closures remain in
effect, please go to www.511wi.Gov or your local County government
web Page for more details.

No additional precipitation has fallen over the last 24 hours. Dry
weather is forecast until Friday. River levels are expected to
recede and improve by the end of the week.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Ashland, Washburn, Sanborn, Hawthorne, Iron River, Lake Nebagamon,
Barnes, Maple, Barksdale, Brule, Poplar in Douglas County, Oulu,
Drummond, Marengo, Port Wing, South Range, Ino, Benoit, and
Namekagon Lake.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

... A Flood Warning remains in effect until 500 am CDT Tuesday for
northeastern Pine... southeastern Carlton and northwestern Douglas
counties...

At 425 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding across the
warned area. The Nemadji river continues flooding areas in and
around Superior. Westbound lanes on Highway 2 in Superior have
opened to two way traffic. There still are several Road closures in
effect, please go to douglascountywi.Org or www.511wi.Gov for more
detailed information. Please continue to follow all detours and Road
closures.

The river gauge south of Superior has crested and continues to
recede as of 4 PM CDT. Around midnight the Nemadji river crested at
31.0 feet. As of 3 PM CDT the Nemadji river was at 26.4 feet and
falling.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Superior, Mahtowa, Wrenshall, Holyoke, Wisconsin Point, Nemadji,
Foxboro, Pleasant Valley, Nickerson, Belden, Chaffey, Harlis,
Pattison State Park, Scotts Corner, Patzau, and Jay Cooke State Park.

... A Flash Flood Warning for a dam failure remains in effect until
630 PM CDT for east central Pine... southwestern Douglas and north
central Burnett counties...

At 337 PM CDT local law enforcement reported the Radigan Flowage dam
west of Dairyland has likely failed causing flash flooding
downstream on the Tamarack river! Bridges downstream of the dam have
become flooded!

Locations impacted include...
town Rd T west of Dairyland.
Swedish Highway at the Tamarack river.
Highway T west of Cozy Corner.
Markville Road east of Markville.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.

... A Flood Warning remains in effect until 730 am CDT Thursday for
southeastern Pine... southern Douglas... northwestern Washburn and
Burnett counties...

At 253 PM CDT, flooding is occurring along the croix river. Wisconsin
State Highway 35 is closed over Riverside bridge in both directions.
Numerous other County roads were also reported as closed.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Grantsburg, Trade Lake, Webster, Solon Springs, Webb Lake Wisconsin,
Gordon, Dairyland, Cloverton, Duxbury, Danbury, Branstad, Randall,
Oakland, Cozy Corner, Falun, Minong Flowage, Moose Junction,
Kingsdale, Four Corners, and Trade River.
