Special Statement
Issued: 5:23 AM CST Dec. 13, 2017 – National Weather Service

... A few slick roads possible this morning over northeast South
Dakota and west central Minnesota...

Surface low pressure over southern Minnesota will continue to
track southeast this morning. Behind the low, gusty winds and
colder temperatures will continue to spread south over the region.
Once the temperatures fall to near freezing or colder, Road
surfaces may become slick due to already fallen rain having
frozen on the Road surface. Walkways may also turn slick.

Motorists and pedestrians should prepare for these potential
slick conditions by allowing for more travel time during the
morning commute.
