Issued: 11:55 PM CST Nov. 20, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory now in effect until 4 am CST Tuesday...

* winds... northwest 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Impacts... gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* Additional impacts... waves of 4 to 6 feet may be generated in
the Devils Lake basin and result in roadbed erosion in
susceptible areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or gusts
over 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
