The Flood Warning has been cancelled for the James River at Galena.* At 4:31 am Sunday the stage was 13.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to 7.7 feet by tomorrow
morning.
* Impact... at 15.0 feet... flood waters impact shoal canoe rental and
motel one mile south of the gage site. Railey creek at the rental
and hotel area begins to backwater along the James River. (936 ft
msl)

At 907 PM CDT, the Department of Transportation reported rain from
the past few days was causing minor flooding to continue across
portions of the Ozarks and southeastern Kansas. Low water roads and
bridges across the advisory area remain impacted by flood waters.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
