Issued: 9:28 AM MST Feb. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 11 am MST this
morning...

* timing... significant travel impacts from this storm will
continue this morning, along with periods of light snow.

* Snow accumulations... an additional inch of snow is possible in
the lower elevations.


* Winds/visibility... north to northeast winds 10 to 20 mph with
higher gusts. Visibilities will be reduced to one mile at
times in falling snow.

* Impacts... extremely dangerous travel with very icy and snow
packed roads early in the morning. A layer of ice could exist
on roadways due to slushy snow that froze last evening. Use
extreme caution!

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in
an emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight...
food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
