Issued: 8:16 AM CDT May. 27, 2017 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Attoyac Bayou near Chireno.
* Until Sunday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:30 am Saturday the stage was 14.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
early tomorrow.
* Impact... at 14.0 feet... expect lowland flooding for the next several
days of the heavily wooded floodplain. Ranchers that have cattle
and equipment near the river should move them to higher ground.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Angelina river near Lufkin.
* Until Friday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:00 am Friday may 26th the stage was 10 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* The river is expected to remain steady near flood stage for the
the next several days.
* Impact... at 10.0 feet... expect minor lowland flooding of the heavily
wooded floodplain. Also expect flooding of boat launches as well.
