... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 9 PM this
evening to midnight MDT Friday night above 5000 feet...

* impacts/timing: snow will develop this evening and continue
into Friday evening, with accumulations possible down to 5000
feet. Brief periods of moderate to heavy snow will be possible
early Friday morning. Expect roads to become slippery with
changeable conditions over short distances. In addition, areas
of poor visibility are expected due to the combination of
falling snow and breezy winds.

* Snow accumulations: 1 to 4 inches 5000 to 6000 feet. 5 to 10
inches snow are expected in the high elevations above 6000 feet,
including over MacDonald and Homestake passes.

* Winds: gusts to 30 mph will cause areas of low visibility,
especially on High Mountain passes such as Homestake and
MacDonald.

* Locations impacted include: Highway 93 Sula to Lost Trail
Pass, Lolo Pass, Butte, Georgetown Lake, Homestake pass, and
MacDonald Pass
