The National Weather Service in Missoula has extended the

* Flood Warning for...
Clark Fork river at Drummond in...
northeastern Granite County in west central Montana...
south central Powell County in west central Montana...

* until 600 am MDT Friday

* small creeks and streams up stream of the Clark river near
Drummond continue to run high from recent rainfall. The water
flowing into the the Clark Fork river is expected to continue to
be above minor flood stage of 8 feet this morning.

* When the Clark Fork river at Drummond reaches minor flood stage of
8 feet, ranch land and a few out buildings are flooded between
Drummond and Bearmouth.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not enter or cross flowing water or water of unknown depth.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
