morning across eastern North Carolina...

Travel will remain hazardous tonight into early Friday morning,
with many area roadways covered in snow and ice. Temperatures will
drop into the 20s tonight, and any snow and snow melt will
refreeze. Area roadways not expected to see much improvement until
late Friday morning and Friday afternoon.

If you must go out, slow down, keep plenty of distance between
you and other motorists, and allow plenty of time to reach your
destination.
