... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 3 PM this afternoon to
6 am MST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 3 PM this
afternoon to 6 am MST Wednesday.

* Timing... 3 PM this afternoon to 6 am Wednesday morning.

* Total snow accumulations... 3 to 5 inches at lower elevations...
with 6 to 8 inches over the mountains.

* Winds/visibility... east to southeast 10 to 20 mph with
visibilities near zero at times in falling snow.

* Impacts... light to moderate snow will create periods of
hazardous travel conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
