==Discussion==

Rain, heavy at times, expected on Thursday. Rain is forecast to
spread across eastern Newfoundland on Thursday in advance of a low
pressure system approaching the Grand Banks. The rain will become
heavy at times, giving amounts generally ranging between 20 and 45
mm before tapering off Thursday night. There is some uncertainty
with respect to the intensity of this system, however, and as a
result, the potential exists for higher totals over some areas.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by
Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to
