the Flood Warning has been extended for
the Wabash River near Bluffton
* from Sunday afternoon to late Wednesday night.
* At 9 PM Saturday the stage was 9.4 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise above flood stage Sunday afternoon
and crest near 10.1 feet around 1 PM Tuesday February 27 and fall
below flood stage around 1 am Wednesday February 28.
* At 10.0 feet... the river is at flood stage. Flooding of
agricultural land begins.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.1 feet which occurred
on Mar 16 2010.

* This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.4 feet which occurred
on Dec 29 2015.

... Flood Watch remains in effect until 7 am EST Sunday...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northern Indiana and Northwest Ohio, including the
following areas, in northern Indiana, Adams, Blackford, Grant,
Jay, and Wells. In Northwest Ohio, Allen, Putnam, and Van Wert.

* Until 7 am EST Sunday

* additional rainfall of around a half inch is expected tonight.
This may cause some flooding in low land areas as well as aid in
river rises tonight.

* Saturated grounds from recent rainfall will favor rises on
rivers, streams and creeks.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

remain alert to this flooding potential into next week. Listen to
