... A quick round of snow for the western mountains today...

A weather system will bring falling temperatures and lowering snow
levels across the western mountains today. Snow levels will lower
from around 9000 feet at sunrise to between 7000 and 7500 feet
later this morning. A quick bout of 1 to 4 inches of snow is
expected for most mountain locations today. Travel at and near
pass level may become slick and snow covered for a few hours
today. Be alert for rapidly changing conditions today with a few
hours of snowfall.
