... High Wind Warning remains in effect from 8 am PDT /8 am MST/
to 11 PM PDT /11 PM MST/ Thursday...

* timing... winds will increase significantly Thursday... peaking
Thursday afternoon and evening then diminishing Thursday
night.

* Winds... southwest to northwest winds gusting to around 60 mph.
Up to 70 mph in the mountains.

* Impacts... strong winds may damage to roofs... trees... and
unsecured structures. Dangerous travel conditions due to
strong Crosswinds and areas of blowing dust are expected.
Dangerous boating conditions are expected on area lakes due to
significant wave activity.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Check the forecast and Road conditions before traveling and be
prepared for reduced visibility and strong Crosswinds...
especially in high-profile vehicles. Secure loose objects and
temporary fences. Take down temporary structures such as tents to
avoid damage. Avoid boating on area lakes during periods of
strong winds.
