... Coastal flood advisory remains in effect from 9 PM this
evening to 2 am EDT Sunday...

* locations... along the South Shore bays of western Long Island
and Queens.

* Positive tidal departures... from 1/2 to 1 ft in Jamaica Bay... to
1 to 1 1/2 ft in Great South Bay.

* Timing... around the times of high tide tonight.

* Impacts... minor flooding of vulnerable Waterfront and shoreline
roads... and adjacent properties. Inundation of 1 to 1 1/2 ft
above ground level in the lowest lying spots. A few Road
closures likely with a low threat of property damage.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
