... Rain changing to sleet and snow this afternoon...

Rain continues to transition to snow over The Glens falls
corridor, Saratoga region, southern Vermont, the Mohawk Valley,
greater capital region, northern Catskills, central and northern
Taconics, Berkshires, and the Schoharie valley between 2 and 4 PM.
The precipitation will quickly turn to snow and sleet between
Interstate 88 and Interstate 90 between 2 and 3 PM. Temperatures
will be in the lower to mid 30s with light snow accumulations
expected on some of the untreated surfaces ranging from a coating
to up to an inch in a few locations. Visibilities could lower to
under a half mile briefly in the snow. Exercise caution while
driving out on the roads this afternoon with the snow and briefly
reduced visibilities.
