Special Statement
Issued: 3:47 AM EST Feb. 18, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Slippery driving conditions possible through early this
morning...

Wet ground with areas of snow and slush... combined with
temperatures near or just below freezing... will result in areas
of ice across the region through early this morning. Any ice on
paved surfaces is then expected to melt after sunrise as
temperatures warm above freezing.

Motorists should exercise caution and allow extra time to get to
their destinations. Pedestrians should also be careful while
walking. Roads may appear wet but can actually be icy.
