... Flood Watch remains in effect from 8 am EDT Monday through
Tuesday afternoon...

The Flood Watch continues for

* counties along the crest of the Blue Ridge, from Floyd County
southwest to Watauga County, as well as Patrick, Surry and
Wilkes counties.

* From 8 am EDT Monday through Tuesday afternoon

* prolonged heavy rainfall totaling three to four inches.

* Flooding of small streams and creeks, small rivers and in poor
drainage areas.
