... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am EDT this morning...

* locations... the New River, Greenbrier, Roanoke and southern
Shenandoah valleys.

* Hazards... poor visibility.

* Visibilities... one quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing... through 900 am EDT.

* Impacts... very poor visibility along the Interstate 81
corridor between Lexington and Marion Virginia... along Highway
58 west of Stuart... Highway 460 from Blacksburg to Bluefield,
Highway 220 from Roanoke into the Virginia Highlands, and
Highway 219 from Rich Creek to Lewisburg West Virginia.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
