Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 3:25 AM EST Feb. 20, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until noon EST today...

The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect until noon EST today.

* Visibilities... one quarter mile or less.

* Timing... through noon today.

* Impacts... travel during the morning commute could become
hazardous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to one quarter mile or less. If driving, slow down, use
low beam headlights, and leave plenty of following distance.
Exercise additional caution at intersections and Highway onramps
and offramps where accidents are more likely to occur.
