* what... icy and snow-covered roads will create dangerous travel
conditions through midday Friday. Areas where roads were wet on
Thursday will refreeze tonight, producing slick spots in the
form of black ice.

* Where... much of central North Carolina.

* When... until noon EST Friday.

* Additional details... overnight temperatures will be in the upper
teens to mid 20s. Temperatures are expected to rise to above
freezing by noon Friday.
