The Flood Warning continues for
the Ogeechee river near Eden.
* At 8 PM Sunday the stage was 10.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise to
near 12.1 feet by Wednesday evening. Additional rises are possible
thereafter.
* At 12.0 feet, water encroaches on some homes along dashers Landing
Road and Yarbrough Landing Road. Davis Landing Road also becomes
impassable.

... Strong winds will develop across southeast Georgia this
afternoon into this evening...

Winds will increase across southeast Georgia this afternoon into
this evening, as low pressure pulls away to the northeast. The
pressure gradient will tighten behind the departing low, and west
and southwest winds will increase to 20-25 mph, with gusts of
30-35 mph at times.

Winds on some of the bridges and overpasses may be even stronger.
This includes... the Talmadge Memorial bridge and overpasses on
Interstate 95.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio all hazards or the internet for
the latest information from the National Weather Service.
