... Coastal flood advisory remains in effect until 8 PM EDT
Wednesday...

* coastal flooding... minor flooding is expected to continue
along portions of the St Johns River from Jacksonville
southward through Palatka... Satsuma... and Welaka and adjacent
tributaries... especially during times of high Tide. Water
levels will be slow to recede in the St Johns River basin.

* Timing... coastal flooding will continue at least into
Wednesday and possibly through the end of the week.

* Impacts... elevated tide levels will generate minor flooding of
low areas along the St Johns River and its tributaries.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal flood advisory indicates that higher than normal tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the St Johns
River and its tributaries.
