Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 1:02 AM CDT Sep. 20, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am CDT this morning...

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect until 10 am CDT this morning.

* Visibility... down to one quarter of a mile or less at times.

* Impacts... dense fog will result in hazardous driving
conditions due to the limited or even restricted visibilities.
Use caution.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
