The Flood Warning continues for
the Tiffin River near Stryker
* until further notice.
* At 10 PM Sunday the stage was 11.4 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to 14.9 feet around 7 am
Friday February 23 with additional rises possible thereafter.
* At 15.0 feet... several rural buildings flood and flooding begins to
affect residents in the Village of Stryker. Many roads become
impassible.

the Saint Joseph River Ohio below Montpelier
* until further notice.
* The observed stage is unavailable.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise above flood stage and crest near
15.1 feet around 1 am Friday February 23. Additional rises are
possible thereafter.
* At 15.0 feet... several roadways are closed including County Road 10
at County Road k.

... Flood Watch in effect from noon EST /11 am CST/ today through
Wednesday afternoon...

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a

* Flood Watch for portions of northern Indiana, southwest
Michigan, and Northwest Ohio, including the following areas,
in northern Indiana, Adams, Allen in, Blackford, Cass in, De
Kalb, Elkhart, Fulton in, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko,
La Porte, LaGrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, St.
Joseph in, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, white, and Whitley.
In southwest Michigan, Berrien, branch, Cass mi, Hillsdale,
and St. Joseph mi. In Northwest Ohio, Allen OH, Defiance,
Fulton OH, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, and Williams.

* From noon EST /11 am CST/ today through Wednesday afternoon

* periods of moderate to occasionally heavy rain are likely to
cause flooding on area streams, rivers, low lying and other
flood prone areas.

* Amounts of generally 2 to 4 inches are expected by Wednesday
evening.
